  (Preparing for the party)
Floyd: What’s with the glasses? Who are you supposed
  to be?
Janis: I’m going as Yoko Ono.
Floyd: She’s not a musician, she was just married to one.
Janis: ①I’ll have you know she is a very fine musician, actually. Yeah, she married John Lennon, but ②she is also a musician in her own right.
Floyd: Well, I’m not sure you should be dressing up as her. You might attract a few odd glances. She’s generally not a very well-received person, you know.
Janis: I’m aware of that. People blame her for breaking up the Beatles, blah, blah blah…but despite that, she has proven herself as a true artist; ③at least if only in my eyes. ④Anyway, lay off my glasses…who are you supposed to be in that crazy 1)wig?
  Floyd: Isn’t it obvious?
  Janis: Hmm, no…not really.
  Floyd: I’m Mozart.
Janis: Ah, of course. Gee, I didn’t know he was your favourite musician. You are a 2)closet classical music lover. And here I was thinking you were all about jazz and blues.
Floyd: Well, of course I love my jazz, but growing up, my parents played lots of classical (口误成classic) music CDs around the house. It’s very soothing, but also has the power to be very 3)uplifting. Mozart is a genius. Did you know he could play violin and piano at the age of five?
Janis: Wow, that’s pretty impressive. Plus, I know he composed something like six hundred works. ⑤How many of us can say that?
Floyd: I know, right? ⑥Well, we better make tracks for this party. Oh, did you hear who John is dressing up as?
  Janis: No. Who?
Floyd: Gene Simmons. He’s doing all the face paint and everything. ⑦Going all out.
Janis: 4)Hilarious. What an 5)eclectic mix there is going to be. I know Sammy is going as Aretha Franklin and I saw someone in the elevator before who looked like Bono.
Floyd: Get out! It probably WAS Bono! U2 are in town on tour and are staying in this hotel!
  Janis: Are you serious?
Floyd: Yes, you should have asked for an autograph.
Janis: Damn. I thought that 6)costume was a little too
7)realistic. OK, let’s go to the party, then later we can 8)scour the hotel searching for U2.
  Floyd: Deal.
