Just a Shampoo

Alison: Hi. I’m here for a shampoo.
Travis: Sure. Did you have an appointment?
  Alison: Yes. Under Alison.
Travis: Great. Got it. I’m Travis, I’ll be helping you out today. Right this way.
  (A few minutes later)
Travis: Take a seat at the basin…Is that water OK for you? Not too hot?
Alison: No, it’s fine. Thanks. Oh, I like the smell of
  that shampoo.
Travis: Yes, this is our own product. It’s 100 percent organic and it uses all natural products. We don’t test on animals and it’s completely 1)biodegradable. ①It normally goes for about $20 but we have it on special at the moment for $14.99. Did you want to grab a bottle while you are here today?
Alison: Oh…ah, OK. If it’s on special. It sounds really good.
Travis: OK, great. ②I’ll sort you out with a bottle. Now,
  just relax.
  (Ten minutes later)
Travis: Now, just come over to the seat here and I’ll dry you off…I’ve noticed you have a lot of split ends. Would you like a little 2)trim? Just to tidy things up a bit?
Alison: Oh, OK. Yeah I was thinking about that. Yes, just take a little off the tips for me.
Travis: You know, ③if you really want to spice things up—impress that special someone—you should get a 3)perm. It’ll only take about half an hour and give you such a lovely makeover. It’ll be a new you. We can get rid of this 4)drab hairdo and leave you looking ten years younger. ④What do you say?
Alison: Oh, that sounds nice. I have a wedding to go to on the weekend, ⑤so maybe I should splash out, spoil myself a bit.
Travis: And ⑥I’ll tell you what, while I’m at it, I’ll give you a treatment to improve your dry hair. It looks pretty damaged.
  Alison: Great. Thank you.
  (A few hours later)
Travis: OK, all done. Do you like it?
Alison: Ah, yes. It’s a big change. ⑦It may take some time for it to grow on me.
Travis: Oh, you will be a star at that wedding on the weekend. OK, let me just add this up. Perm, cut, and treatment…plus the bottle of shampoo…that’s $200.
  Alison: …and the wash?
Travis: Oh, yes. I forgot to add on the wash and blow dry…so altogether that’s $250. Would you like to book another shampoo while you are here?
Alison: Ah, I’ll get back to you on that.
