命悬一崖 Dangerous Posing

  说到旅游装备,小编窃以为相机就是必不可少的,它可以让记忆变得有存在感,留下“本人到此一游”的痕迹,所以就连平常不爱照相的人也会忍不住照那么几张。只是有时为了拍得一个好角度,要折腾半天,也是很考验人的耐心的。

  Smart Sentences
  ① I’m sweating bullets. 我冷汗直飚呢。
  sweat bullets: sweat heavily or nonstop, just like bullets dropping(大汗淋漓)。例如:
  Mark was sweating bullets after hiking for three hours.
  马克在徒步走了三个小时后大汗淋漓。
  ② Hang tight, I’ll get someone to take a photo for us. 再等一下,我去找人帮我们拍张合照。
  hang tight: wait for further instructions(等一下)。例如:
  I have to get something upstairs. Hang tight.
  我要上楼拿点东西,等一下。
  ③ You are really trying my patience. 你这是在挑战我的忍耐极限。
  try/test sb.’s patience: annoy sb. so much that it is very difficult to stay calm(让某人非常恼火)。例如:
  Stop that noise. You’re testing my patience.

  get on sb.’s last nerve: irritate sb. very much(激怒某人)。例如:
  It will do you no good when you get on my last nerve.

  good to go: ready to do sth.(作好准备)。例如:
  Are you all good to go? Okay, let’s start the presentation.
