1. the shit 棒极了
The best. It is VERY important to note that without THE, an entirely different meaning applies. My teacher is shit = a terrible teacher. My teacher is THE shit = a great teacher.
e.g. Your car is the shit.
2. pull a sb. 跟风,学某人
Used similarly to “pulling a face” but a person is used instead. Used to show someone is replicating[复制,模仿] another person’s behaviour/attitude (usu. someone famous).
e.g. She pulled a Britney and cut off all her hair.
3. butterface (but her face) 身材好但相貌差的女孩
A girl with a nice body, but an ugly face.
e.g. Lily is a total butterface.
4. all that and then some 卓越非凡
Sth./Sb. is more than amazing. If sth./sb. is “all that” it is something truly outstanding. So, “all that and then some (more)” is used to express strong admiration.
e.g. There is nothing Tony can’t do! He is all that and then some.
5. Word.中!说得好!
Well said. Used to express agreement.
e.g. –That movie was awesome!
