We seem to be running into each other a lot lately."

A: Oh, hello.
B: Hello. We seem to be running into each other a lot lately.
A: Yes, we do.
B: Beautiful day, isn’t it?
A: Yes, it is.

We seem to be running into each other a lot lately."

We seem to be running into each other a lot lately的lately和late不同。
(1) The late student was punished.(那个迟到的学生受到惩罚。)
(2) He arrived late.(他迟到了。)
He has been very quiet lately(他最近很沉默)。 He has been very quiet of late.

Run into / bump into somebody即‘偶然遇到某人’,此外还有happen on / come across somebody 的说法,例如:I happened on / came across an old classmate this morning.(我今早偶然碰到一个旧同学。)

We seem to be running into each other a lot lately. You have been stalking me lately.(你近来常常跟踪我。)
