  Stevenson: Hi, I'm Stevenson Lau.

  Robert: I'm Robert Chan, and we're the Three Bros.

  These three young men make up Three Bros, a small start-up that uses 2-D bar codes to market products to Hong Kong mobile users. But they're not your typical entrepreneurs. They are also the heirs to some of the city's biggest businesses and pressures to succeed are high.

  Robert: The thing that's really tough for me personally, my father is very successful in his food and beverage field. I have a lot of pressure to become even close to being successful as him. It's hard to do that comparison but I think I try my best to become something like my father.

  The three represent a generation of heirs to big Asian businesses. Their parents are expected to retire within the next decade. Unlike many Western businesses, Asian businesses are more likely to stay within the family. Or in other words, they're more likely to stay in the hands of young people like Stevenson, Christopher and Robert. Their generation will deal with the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of Asia. The Three Bros met in 2005 at a five-day long conference that Citi Private Bank organizes every year for the sons and daughters of their clients. The attendees have workshop in anything, from wealth management to collecting art. This year, 100 heirs showed up. Their collective wealth: about US$50 billion.
